I recently stayed at a charming cottage in Gloucester that offered a great location for exploring the town. The highlight of my visit was the fine cathedral, an absolute must-see. Despite being on a budget, the cottage was clean and spacious enough for my group of six. We particularly enjoyed the lovely garden area where we could relax, play games, and have a chat in the evenings. I highly recommend this accommodation for a nice and budget-friendly stay in Gloucester.
Despite a small inconvenience of lacking chopping knives and a grater in the kitchen, it didn't affect our stay much as we quickly popped out to get these items. Nonetheless, it would have been helpful to know about this beforehand.

There were no chopping knives or grater in the kitchen, which was a bit inconvenient.

Our stay at Floss Cottage was cozy and charming, like stepping into a fairytale. The room had a warm, inviting atmosphere with a lovely bathroom perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. It felt like a home away from home, just what we needed for our family getaway.
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small, but others may still find it sufficient.

This place is seriously amazing! The location is super awesome, perfect for exploring the city and visiting the jaw-dropping cathedral. And let's talk about the cottage itself - it's so clean and cozy, and it comfortably fit all six of us without breaking the bank. The garden is a total game-changer, providing us with a beautiful spot to chill, play games, and chat in the evening. Plus, the free wi-fi, free parking, dryer, electric kettle, air conditioning. Oh, and did I mention there's also a fantastic outdoor dining area? And no smoking on site? Seriously, this place has it all. Highly recommend!

The bathroom was a nice surprise, equipped with both a bath and a shower. It felt luxurious and made me feel pampered during my stay at Floss Cottage. As someone who enjoys relaxing baths and quick showers, I really loved having both options available.
Personally, I found the Wi-Fi connection a bit slow, but others might not mind.

The nearby cathedral is a must-visit, and the cleanliness of the cottage was spot on. Perfect for a group of six on a budget. Loved having a garden to hang out in the evenings, playing games and having a chat.
Would have been nice to have chopping knives and a grater in the kitchen. It's just something to keep in mind and plan accordingly.
